OVERVIEW
A small tribute to colours.
This project is a vibrant celebration of colours, expressed through a chaotic and dynamic motion graphic animation. The concept revolves around a single still camera, fixed on the same frame, while various elemental forces rage within the scene. Each element is tied to an "obvious" color choice—except for air, which presented a creative challenge. Ultimately, I crafted a storm-like entity, blending swirling winds and flashes of lightning to represent its untamed energy.
The animation features four distinct simulations, each framed precisely to ensure smooth transitions between them during editing. These transitions became a central focus, pushing me to experiment with sequencing and flow to create a visually engaging experience. The editing process itself was a deep dive into DaVinci Resolve, offering a valuable exercise in mastering its tools.
Music played a crucial role in defining the animation's rhythm and timing. Every cut and transition was synchronized to the beat, adding another layer of cohesion to the piece.
